us the accompanying letter ist Y.L. had reed from the Colonial Office inclosing a despatch
wh the Take of Buckingham - Chandos had ree? from the Governor of Houghtory in regard to the question of the extent of British jurisdiction in the waterd adjacent to that Colony.
Dr Hammond was also pleased to say of
that
we should perceive that the Duke Buckingham considers that after the opinion Expressed in the above-mentioned Report of The Law Officers it is not necessary to discuss this question any further.
